The MK Story...
mike and kate met in Singapore in October 2008 through a common friend. As kate is preparing herself to settle in a new country, mike became a good friend, a funny buddy and the only guy best friend who never failed to make her laugh.
When they met, mike was also in the process of finding
peace & balance… kate became his strength and go-to person.
Two worlds apart who found oneness in their purpose, and the rest is history!
By 2010, kate moved to Canada, and after a year of
long-distance relationship, mike followed. Happy &
settling in well after five years, they are slowly realizing
their dreams & aspirations.
The Proposal…
Mike proposed on top of Whistler Mountain on kate's
birthday, October 3rd, 2013!! Of course, she said, "yes"!!!
The Canadian Wedding…
11-12-13 was a triple treat for the couple. they had a humble
wedding at the St. Joseph Parish, with just 5 people knowing ~
the priest, 2 witnesses & of course, M&K. This is followed by
the blessing of their new home & mike's birthday celebration.
It was a delightful surprise for their friends in Canada!
